Lax Gap Year Nepal Dharan 2007

Monday, February 22nd, 2010

I made this vid in memory of my hometown_dharan city, Nepal. I went back to D.town for my gap year, it’s been nearly around 2 years now and wen i reminisce bout it, it’s just WOW! I literally fell in love with the place, from my friends, family, to the students and staff in Navjyoti school, to Ratna chok ko dalkhutti ra thukpako place to Burger coat ko fresh thongba n barbequed kalo sungurko masu, Seuthi khola, Sailung kitchenko thes rupeko cold coffee, tempu ride from bar gache to bhanu chok to riding rikshaws to the cool breezes from the back seat of a pulsar on the bike rides to Vhedetar_the place where I shared some of the most beautiful memories of my life… I miss you Dharan and all the people in D.Town, Can’t wait to see you all again…(^_^) Lots of love Laxcha Bantawa Ps- I originally edited this vid to ‘Brimful of Asha’ by Fatboyslim but Youtube disabled it due to copyright so hence why it may look a bit odd in some places :(

The Gap Year

Monday, February 22nd, 2010

Six lucky travellers, chosen from the Bebo community and representing the six Bebo territories — USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and the UK, will be sent around the world on a six month adventure of a lifetime. On their way around the world they will be set challenges and given tasks in order to decide future destinations, modes of transport, and even their next month’s budget. Visitors to the Bebo Gap Year page will be kept updated on their progress by regular video diaries sent from six very different locations on the planet. They are able to interact directly with the travellers via their Bebo pages — offer advice, local knowledge, comments, even have the chance to win a trip to join our travellers in some far-flung exotic destination.
